The Ford Ranger: Discover the Power
Toughness, intelligence, and versatility define the all-new Ford Ranger. Crafted by the American automotive giant, this next-generation Ranger is the outcome of global conversations with truck owners and drivers. The result is a refined Ford truck that seamlessly transitions from a reliable work partner and family carrier to an adventure-ready powerhouse, conquering terrains with aggression and finesse.
A Contemporary Look Despite its midsize stature, the next-gen Ranger embodies robustness and athleticism. The commanding exterior showcases Ford's unmistakable truck DNA on an elevated scale. With a 50mm longer wheelbase and 50mm wider wheel tracks, the Ford Ranger introduces new fenders and larger wheel arches, delivering a more agile and captivating aesthetic. Expanded space between wheel arches allows the Ranger to accommodate a full-sized 'Euro' pallet flat in its cargo bed.
Flanking the bold grille are C-Clamp-shaped headlamps, while the rear boasts an embossed tailgate and LED tail lamps. Ford has even integrated a load step behind the rear tires, facilitating cargo access. The functional work surface doubling as a tailgate further exemplifies the Ranger's innovation.
A new Splash appearance package and Splash Limited Edition bring back the vibrant colors of the 90s to the Ranger. The Splash package features orange and black body-side graphics, an orange grille trim, and gloss-black exterior accents. Enthusiasts can anticipate the Splash Limited Edition, unveiling different colors monthly.
Inside, the next-gen Ranger's expansive dash emphasizes cabin width with clean lines. Soft-touch elements and a portrait-style integrated LCD center touchscreen introduce a touch of innovation. This screen exhibits driving mode controls and integrates with a 360-degree camera, enhancing everything from parking to navigating challenging terrains.
Variety of Trims and Styles Buyers can select from three trims: XL, XLT, and Lariat, available in an extended cab with a 6-foot bed (SuperCab) or a crew cab with a 5-foot bed (SuperCrew) model.
Versatility and Capability Redefined The Ford Ranger ensures peak performance across landscapes and scenarios. Equipped with dynamic drivetrains and cutting-edge technology, it is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. Ranger enthusiasts can choose between the standard six-speed automatic or the more efficient 10-speed automatic gearbox, delivering seamless shifts.
Customers can enhance the Ranger with the Terrain Management System, a first beyond the Ranger Raptor. Four drive modes - Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts, and Sand - ensure a tailored driving experience.
Purposeful enhancements to the exterior enable the Ranger to tackle demanding drives. By situating the shocks outboard and advancing the front wheels by 50mm, Ford has amplified off-road stability. An optional towing package empowers the 2022 Ranger with a towing capacity of up to 7500 pounds.
Cutting-Edge Technology at Your Fingertips At the heart of the 2022 Ranger's advanced setup is Ford's SYNC4 system. This cloud-connected in-vehicle communication and entertainment hub boasts wireless smartphone integration, a configurable digital instrument cluster (a Ford first), and on-the-go FordPass connectivity.
With FordPass, owners access next-gen functions like over-the-air software updates, remote start, vehicle status checks, and remote lock/unlock via a mobile device.
Entertainment reaches new heights with a four-speaker AM/FM audio system, a single USB port, and a Wi-Fi hotspot capable of connecting up to 10 devices.
In the Ranger, Ford expertly combines comfort and ruggedness. With ingenious enhancements, it stands not only as a top-tier work truck but also an off-road juggernaut that commands attention.
