Bronco just turned 55 years old and Ford made sure its celebration won’t be anything less than extraordinary.
True to its vision of creating epic outdoor excursions and suiting the lifestyle of adventurers, Ford launched five exciting adventure concepts to expand the all-new Bronco Built Wild lineup’s design and capability pillar. These concepts showcase factory-backed accessories to make sure your Bronco is perfectly personalized to match the upcoming adventures you want to pursue.
1. Bronco Four-Door Outer Banks Fishing Guide
This concept was built upon the larger Bronco four-door for those who love fishing. The SUV features fender-mounted trail sights to fit a custom-made fishing pole, and a seat perch has been incorporated as you wait for the perfect catch. When repairing or stringing up new lures, a slide-out tailgate can be utilized as a great work surface. Some more of the highlights are first-row soft-top, roof nails, crossbars, a Yakima roof rack, and all-weather floor mats and splash guards.
2. Bronco Two-Door Trail Rig
Built on the larger two-door Bronco model, this is designed to be the ultimate hardcore trail rider. It has a Ford Performance modular front bumper, the ever-popular tube doors show up for the Bronco, 40-inch LED lightbar, and beadlock-capable wheels. On the top is a Yakima roof rack system with mounts for a shovel, recovery boards, and recovery kit. Rugged floor mats and a rear swing-gate-mounted table is featured inside. This adventure concept is perfect to help rescue lesser equipped 4x4 friends.
3. Bronco Sport Trail Rig
This adventure concept is perfect for outdoorsy types wanting to level up their off-road trekking in a small, rugged 4x4. This amplifies the Bronco Sport Badlands series model with its 31-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, LED off-road lights mounted to a front nudge bar, and a one-inch lift kit. It also features a platform roof rack, and off-road gear mounts designed to carry tools and equipment like the high-lift jack kit, jerry cans and recovery boards.
4. Bronco Sport TOW RZR
Adventurers are provided with towing and cargo accessories in this concept to help them haul more outdoor gear. The custom-build features an OffGrid medium cargo basket, Yakima crossbars, and a Class II Trailer Tow Package that can tow off-road runners like the Polaris RZR with its 2,200 pounds tow capacity.
5. Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol
With its Yakima cargo platform that can hold recovery equipment including recovery boards, jerry cans, and high-lift, jack, this Bronco Sport build is definitely equipped to assist in the wild. An LED lightbar also mounts to the rack system. Another exciting feature to support one of many Off-Roadeo expeditions is its interior Yakima bike rack that can hold two mountain bikes. Not to mention, it can record customers’ excursions as it integrates a drone that will be used on the trail. This has been designed for the exciting Bronco Off-Roadeo customer adventure playgrounds.
These thrilling adventure concepts aren’t all Ford has to offer. Ford is building four off-roading and outdoor adventure playgrounds to elevate the Bronco experience and create a community for people who love to go off-road.
The first of four Off-Roadeo locations revealed is in Austin, Texas. Opening next summer, this will definitely fuel Bronco fans’ quest for adventures in the wild.
Ford also announced that the Bronco R will return to Baja 1000 this year.
