SUVs provide drivers with valuable flexibility: the ability to brave harsh conditions, as well as the comfort, performance, and style that modern drivers expect. Nowhere is this better done than in this year's model of the Ford Escape.

A major development for the 2023 model year is the unveiling of the ST-Line series, which focuses on delivering a sporty, exciting experience for drivers. Under the hood, this trim has a 1.5 L 180 horsepower engine, while the ST-Line Select and ST-Line Elite offer a 2.0 L Ecoboost engine that produces 250 horsepower. All ST-Line models have available all-wheel drive and come standard with front wheel drive. This flexibility gives customers the flexibility that they need for the conditions in their home. For drivers that frequently have to brave heavy snow conditions, the all wheel drive option is perfect.

For the Escape, Ford also offers other trims with multiple engine set-ups. The Escape lineup also includes Base, Escape Active, Platinum and Plug-in Hybrid models. The full hybrid model is designed for range, and is able to get more than 550 miles on a single tank. With the help of the electric motor, the hybrid model is also more powerful, producing 210 horsepower. Using a 110 volt Level 1 charger, the battery that powers the hybrid electric motor can charge in 10-11 hours, while a Level 2 charger can cut this to just 3 hours. The hybrid is not an exception, because every Escape model is highly efficient; no Escape model will get less than 400 miles from just one tank.

All models of the Ford Escape are equipped with modern infotainment technology, including standard Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Alexa integration. This allows drivers to play music, make calls, send text messages, and navigate, all without taking their hands off of the wheel or getting distracted. Looking at the new developments in this model, it is clear to see why the Escape was among the best selling cars of 2022.
