Since its inception, the Ford brand has been known for its surpassing quality. Embodied in their motto, the phrase "Built Ford Tough" is the reason that so many turn to Ford for their most heavy duty jobs. This is why Ford has routinely topped the lists for best selling trucks in America. As technology advances further, Ford's trucks do as well. The all new generation of the Ford Super Duty does this as well, setting new boundaries in efficiency, driver assistance, and safety.

The engines in the Ford Super Duty are all significantly improved from the previous generation; the new Power Stroke diesel V8 provides the best horsepower and torque in its class, as well as a longer time needed between oil changes. Additionally, the standard 6.8 L V8 gas engine has been tuned to provide greater torque in lower rpm ranges, which is beneficial for towing.

The Super Duty has also utilized modern developments to make the driver's life easier. These include onboard scales that can estimate towing weight, a trailer camera system that allows 360 degree views around the trailer, and navigation that will find a route that can support the restrictions created by your trailer, avoiding low bridges and hairpin turns. With best in class payload abilities, these features will be useful for the 96% of heavy duty truck owners that use their vehicle to tow trailers. These technologies becoming available signals a major shift for towing to become easier and more accessible.

Lastly, the new security features introduced by Ford allow drivers to rest easy knowing the safety of their vehicle won't be in danger. The new Trailer Theft Alert will send a message via the FordPass app to notify the owner that their vehicle may be tampered with, while the Fleet Start Inhibit feature allows owners to regulate the hours when their fleet is able to be operated. Overall, the innovation exhibited by Ford in the development of the Super Duty demonstrates their commitment to quality and toughness.
