For the newest SEMA exhibition in Las Vegas,Ford is debuting several new vehicles representing its recent focus towards innovation, especially in the electric vehicle market. In collaboration with leading aftermarket manufacturers, Ford is displaying over 40 unique project vehicles at the exhibition. Featured lines include F-series truck concepts, custom new Ford Maverick models, the Ford ranger pickup, and the new Bronco SUV.
Let’s dive into some specific models that best showcase Ford’s new technologies. For starters, the new Ranger Extreme Offroader by Skyjacker embodies the peak of off-road performance for the Ford Ranger. It includes a Skyjacker suspension six inch lift, front and rear off-road bumpers, a WARN winch, and rock slider side steps. Additionally, from Ford Performance Parts, the truck features RIGID Industries A-pillar lighting, EcoBoost engine Power Pack calibration, a cat back exhaust system, and a differential cover.
Another interesting new model is the Shelby Mustang Mach-E GT Concept. Built on the electric Mach-E platform, this concept also features graphene-infused carbon fiber on the outside to improve aesthetics and performance, as well as Recaro seats on the inside.
One of Ford’s more traditional concept offerings at SEMA is the M2 Motoring Mustang GT. As a contrast from some of the other electric or trucklike offerings, this carries on Ford’s long-standing tradition of offering loud American muscle cars. With a 5.0 liter V8, a 6 speed manual transmission, and 750 horsepower on tap, this is sure to appeal to any muscle or sports car enthusiast.
Apart from SEMA, one of Ford’s biggest new initiatives is their newly revamped e-commerce site, featuring parts from Ford Licensed Accessories, Genuine Ford Parts, and Ford Performance Parts.
Between Ford’s new website and its SEMA display, it is clear that the American brand is on an upward trajectory. It is innovating and creating new, exciting cars, while also building cars that pay homage to its classic American heritage. With offerings for all types of buyers, Ford is continuing to dominate the domestic car market.
