Congratulations to the 2019 Salesmen of the Year, Scott Oser and Phoenix Nichols! Both are established members of the O’Daniel Ford dealership of New Haven, Indiana. Both are also well established salesmen at the dealership who continually work hard and are very deserving of this award. While the two are unique in their personalities, their character and overall intentions are, quite frankly, the same: to build strong relationships with their customer base through dedication and patience, as well as to understand and pursue whatever is best for each and every customer.

Scott Oser, has also won Salesman of the Year in the past, and has many years of experience in the industry. He has been with the O’Daniel Automotive Group since March of 2002 and prides himself on his professionalism, customer service and attention to detail. With this level of dedication, Oser can build strong and lasting relationships with his existing consumer base, as well as new comers. On top of it all, Scott loves the thrill of the sale, making him a true salesman at heart. All of this represents just a fraction of the hard work, persistence, and passion that Scott Oser has poured into his profession. After his previous Salesman of the Year win of 2017, it’s clear that Scott Oser has not changed his unwavering commitment to his clients. 

When you help customers in the best way possible, and put in the effort every day — it’s safe to assume things will all work out. These are some of the wise thoughts of Phoenix Nichols, the other 2019 Salesman of the Year award winner with the O’Daniel Ford dealership. Phoenix believes in putting in the everyday effort as his approach to sales, and this is only one of the reasons as to why he earned the title of Salesman of the Year. When asked what some of his best qualities are that helped him win Salesman of the Year, Phoenix explained that being excited to help and being patient with customers are two key attributes to his success. He explained that some customers need to be heard more than others and not pushed around. Treating every customer as a buyer and being sure to deliver the full experience of doing business is also key. Phoenix has committed himself to changing the stereotypical “car salesman” reputation.
