For over a decade, Ford has been putting out best-in-class vehicles that have explored, encouraged and evolved, both on and off roads. One of Ford’s most historic memories takes us back 55 years ago when noted race car driver Ken Miles made waves on the track in the first 1965 Mustang Shelby GT350 fastback coupe. What better way to remember the legacy than introducing a limited-edition version of this same vehicle?

With the new limited-edition 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition Package, you can add an entirely new dimension to the concept of vehicular aesthetics. A unique classic Wimbledon White finish and Guardsman Blue side and over-the-top race stripes pay homage to the Shelby GT350 Mustang icon of 1965 in addition to the United States' international racing colors. The Heritage Edition package includes front and rear exterior badges with a unique dash badge on the inside.

This mid-‘60s creation sports authentic exterior livery, race-winning performance, and unique appointments. When Miles drove the GT350 at Green Valley Raceway, he instantly turned this Ford Mustang into a legend. February 14, 1965 marks the date he drove this iconic ride, developed as a competition model by Carroll Shelby, to victory. Fifty-five years later, this limited edition pays tribute to this victory.

In addition to the GT350, Ford is also offering a limited run of GT350R’s. It is distinguished by a redesigned high-trail steering knuckle, an updated electric power steering control, and a new steering rack. Not to mention the all-black seating accompanied by red accent stitching.

The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 was not made for the ordinary. With an array of recent upgrades in the Heritage Edition Package, you will now have optimized track-focused aerodynamics that will make your drives more stable and comfortable than ever. It has received a longer-trail steering geometry, updated anti-lock braking, and MagneRide tuning. This car is like no other. This car was made for you.

The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 can be ordered now and is projected to arrive this spring.
