The comfort of a full-size sedan is paired with high quality, soft-touch materials inside the cabin of the 2017 Ford Taurus to ensure the most enjoyable ride experience. Four-way adjustable head restraints conform to the passenger's ideal seating position to maximize safety and comfort.

The car includes a heated steering wheel, as well as heated seats in both the front and rear. This new Taurus is not only prepared for the cold, but now passengers can enjoy a cooling feature built into the front seats, as well as rear air-vents for the hottest summer days.

Environmentally-conscious drivers will find comfort in the soy-based seat cushions, featuring extended thigh support and the bolster contour seat design. Ford knows drivers can not be comfortable without feeling safe. With an overall Government 5-Star Safety Rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, it's clear that the company doesn't skimp on safety. Available features include smart all-wheel drive sensors which prevent wheel-slip and curve control features to enhance stability during turns.

LED tail lamps are standard on all Taurus models because they are exceptionally brighter than conventional bulbs, light up faster, and consume less energy. Additionally, Ford’s Revolutionary Blind Spot Information System tells drivers when a vehicle is in their blind spot while driving or backing up, and forward collision warning with brake support slows your vehicle when traffic is ahead to reduce accidents.

The 2017 Taurus includes a variety of performance options including the standard 3.5L Ti-VCT engine with 288 horsepower, and a 2.0L EcoBoost engine with 240 horsepower, typical of a larger engine. The engine compartment and cabin are insulated to block out noise so passengers can clearly hear the Audio System offered from Sony featuring HD Radio Technology.

Ford's latest model features impeccable safety on the road without sacrificing the importance of comfort for any journey.
