This year’s Raptor is even more of a beast than last year’s, if you can believe that. Fitted with new, advanced sets of FOX Racing Shox, updated aluminum construction, and a state-of-the-art 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 engine, the 2017 Raptor is a force to be reckoned with.
Adding 0.5 more inches in diameter, with a total of 3 inches, the brand new FOX Racing Shox provide 44 percent extra volume to disperse heat quicker and improve resistance. The new FOX Racing Shox bring the suspension travel of the Ford F-150’s Raptor up to 13.0 inches for the front and 13.9 inches for the rear. With an increase of 15 percent in overall suspension travel, all this equates to an extremely comfortable and smooth ride anywhere and everywhere.
