Ford is now offering performance enhancing calibrations for 2015 and newer Mustang EcoBoost and Mustang GT models.
The gains throughout the powerband in the EcoBoost calibration kit include a total of 100 horsepower increase at 6,000 rpm. The kit has an average gain of 40 horsepower and 60 lb.–ft. of torque ranging from 2,500 rpm to 5,000 rpm, with an even wider range of 75 horsepower and 64 lb.-ft. from 5,500 rpm to redline.

For the first time, Ford is offering three distinct power packages for its V8 as opposed to the typical single performance calibration. The power packages offer the ability for drivers to maximize acceleration, allowing shifts without lifting off the throttle. This will be made available through the new no-lift-shift feature.
The third power pack, for Mustang GT owners looking to take their ride to the next level, brings a significant 37 horsepower boost, an extended powerband, and peak increase of 5 lb.-ft. of torque. These performance options can supply some real value to Mustang customers.
The EcoBoost performance calibration kit and Mustang GT power packages are accessible for both manual and automatic transmission-assembled Mustangs. The kits are available for purchase now through Ford Performance Parts. For limited warranty details, drivers should check with their dealers for further information.
