Ford has always been one to give back. Creating a better, stronger community is something that sets Ford apart from other companies. Due to the fact that Ford is investing $1.6 billion to upgrade two of its manufacturing facilities in Michigan and Ohio which will create and retain 650 jobs, this just exemplifies why Ford is set apart from the rest. The Livonia Transmission Plant in Michigan employs around 1,550 people and builds six-speed transmissions. The Ohio Assembly Plant employs over 1,650 people and began building F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty chassis cab configurations just this year.

Ford has made a $9 billion commitment in 2015 saying they will continue to invest in its US based plants in order to keep jobs and create even more job opportunities for Americans. In the past five years Ford has invested over $12 billion and created over 28,000 jobs for its US based plants. Now that is giving back. What's even better is that Ford has created 2,800 US employment opportunities in just the past five months and will aim to create 8,500 in the next four years within different communities including Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, and Ohio.

Ford has always been known as the "All American" vehicle. From the Mustang to the traditional pick-up truck, Ford does what they can to keep America great.
