Believe it or not, the summer months are ending. Now that it’s August, that means more employee anniversaries! It also means that the O’Daniel Automotive Group is lucky enough to have a great first year with an accomplished employee. This month marks the one-year anniversary of Landon Pattee. I got to spend a little time chatting with Landon and found out a few interesting facts about this hard-working member of the O’Daniel Ford team.
For starters, Landon has a unique bond with the O’Daniel auto business. Not only is he a mechanic, but he learned from one of the best. His father, Jeff, is also a mechanic and the two get to work side by side on the job. When asked about why he chose the automotive industry, Landon explained, “My father was probably one of my biggest influencers.” It’s undoubtedly easy to see why! Although the two might not always work directly with customers, their commitment to quality assurance is just as strong.
Another big influence on Landon’s choice of career? His love of cars. Landon gushed that one of his favorite parts of the job is getting to see all the unique vehicles that come in. It’s safe to say that this passion for vehicles is one of the reasons why Landon is always so eager to work. This effort has truly paid off and O’Daniel Ford is proud to recognize his anniversary during the month of August.
Finally, Landon had a few tidbits of advice for anyone thinking of pursuing a career in the same field. He shared that, “One of the most important things to remember is not to rush the work.” There’s no denying that Landon has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during his year with O’Daniel Ford.
