The New "Old Crow" Ford Mustang GT: A Tribute to WWII Pilot Bud Anderson

In honor of World War II pilot Colonel Bud Anderson, Ford and Roush Performance designed the new "Old Crow" Ford Mustang GT, which was inspired by the airplanes Anderson flew during missions.
 
During World War II, Anderson flew two combat tours and 116 missions in his P-51 Mustang he nicknamed "Old Crow." He provided aerial support during D-Day, flying over six continuous hours that day and never took a hit from enemy fire.

Putting Plastic to Good Use: How Ford is Using Recycled Materials to Create Environmentally Friendly Vehicle Parts

Ford Motor Company is promoting the use of recycled materials for environmentally friendly vehicle parts. Annually, Ford uses roughly 1.2 billion recycled plastic bottles in their vehicles — an average of 250 bottles per vehicle. These recycled bottles are used in the underbody shields on all cars and SUVs as well as the wheel liners on F-Series trucks.

In the summer of 2006, Austin Hatcher Osborn was welcomed into the world. Weeks after his birth, Dr. Jim Osborn and his wife Amy Jo noticed that Hatch wasn’t acting like his normal self. Normally bright and cuddly, Hatch instead started showing signs of illness. Days later, they received the worse news possibleHatch had an inoperable brain tumor. Devastated after Hatch’s death, Jim and Amy Jo started the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer in honor of their son.
