Built for any adventure, the 2019 Ford Explorer offers several dynamic features designed to take you anywhere. Embark confidently with intuitive technology and a suite of driver-assist features designed specifically to keep you safe while on the road.

An eye-catching dynamic grille and distinct front and rear LED signature lighting give the exterior of the Explorer a striking design. The quad-tip exhaust produces a more sophisticated look. The Explorer also offers nine different wheel options for buyers to choose from.

The Desert Copper Appearance Package includes 20-inch Magnetic-painted wheels, grille bars, sideview mirror caps, and lower door trim. Inside the cabin, stylish Ebony Black leather-trimmed seats with Miko inserts and Foxfire stitching provide added comfort and luxury.

Buyers can choose between three different engine options: the 2.3-liter EcoBoost, the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, and the 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engines.

Delivering 280 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is available with four-wheel drive and the Class II Trailer Tow Package.

Standard on the Explorer Sport and Platinum models, the turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine produces 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque. It also comes standard with four-wheel drive along with the Terrain Management System™ and Hill Descent Control™.

The 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine delivers 290 horsepower and features Variable Camshaft Timing that allows for optimal performance across the low, mid, and high ranges of the power band.

The Platinum trim level uses premium Nirvana leather with micro-perforations and quilted inserts throughout the cabin and features a twin-panel moonroof, heated second-row bucket seats, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel accented with real wood and unique stitching. A satin-chrome finish on the exterior gives the Explorer Platinum a striking appearance.

Keep rear passengers safe with the available inflatable rear safety belts. The inflatable belts help distribute crash-force energy across the torso and help reduce the risk of injury. Many infant and child-safety booster seats are compatible with these safety belts.

For extra cargo space, buyers can opt for the available PowerFold third-row seats that fold flat at the touch of a button. Easily store everything from sports equipment to camping gear while still retaining enough interior space for the rear-seat passengers to ride comfortably.

A hands-free, foot-activated liftgate is available that allows users to automatically open the rear of the vehicle with a little kick under the rear bumper. The liftgate height can be adjusted to accommodate lower overhangs.

The Ford Safe and Smart Package offers a variety of available Ford Co-Pilot360 features. These features were designed to alert drivers of unintentional lane drifting and a potential collision along with allowing drivers to set the cruise control and maintain following distance.
